The second beta (RC2) of WordPress 6.5 is now available!

Please note that this version is still under development, so it is not recommended for use on official or important websites. We recommend evaluating this version in a specialized test environment.

Even though this release candidate looks ready to go, it's still important to test it, and we need to make sure that all the features of WordPress 6.5 are working properly.

You can test the WordPress 6.5 RC2 version in four ways:

stick	On a WordPress installation Installation and activation WordPress Beta Tester plugin.(Select "Bleeding edge" channel and "Beta/RC Only" stream).
Direct Download	downloading RC2 version (zip)and install it on your WordPress site.
command line (computing)	Use the following WP-CLICommand:wp core update --version=6.5-RC2
WordPress Playground	utilization 6.5 RC2 WordPress Playground Example(available within 35 minutes of release) Test the software directly in your browser, without a separate site or setup.

Updated content coverage for synchronized mode

As the synchronization model evolves and improves, it is important that each enhancement continues to provide the best possible experience. With this in mind, WordPress 6.5Will not include the ability to overwrite content in synchronized mode. This will allow more time for feedback and testing to make sure it actually works. Expect this feature to debut in the next major release!
