Site Map (Sitemap) is to help search engines

I. Enable Sitemap Function
When Rank Math is installed and enabled, Sitemap is enabled by default. You can confirm or further set it by the following path:

II. Customizing the content type of the output
On the Sitemap settings page, Rank Math provides options for enabling and disabling various types of content, including:

Enable or disable index maps for article pages
Pages
Individually control whether WordPress pages are added to the Sitemap.
Custom article types (e.g., products, courses, etc.)
Rank Math automatically detects all content types registered and supports one-click checkboxes for inclusion in the map.

Submit Sitemap to Search Citation
Once the Sitemap is set up, remember to submit it to the major search platforms:
- Sign in to Google Search Console
- Left menu → Index → Site Map
- Enter the address:
sitemap_index.xml→ Click to submit

- Navigating to the "Sitemaps" menu

VI. Summary
Rank Math offers a high degree of flexibility in sitemap management.
